Why travel?

There are several reasons to travel. First of all, it’s an opportunity to see new places and meet new people. For me its all about new adventures and challenging myself.

If you feel like you’re stuck in your daily life, and are yearning for something exciting and different, traveling is the place to start. You’ll discover how resourceful you are when you’re exposed to new places, people and experiences.

Challenging yourself

Maybe it’s just about finding your way around a busy city or managing to order a meal in a country where you don’t speak the language. Overcoming new challenges brings you joy and energy that you will take with you in the future. You will realize how capable you are and build your confidence.

Learning

Learning is an important reason for people to travel. People want to experience something unfamiliar and leave the place they visited, with new skills or knowledge they didn’t have before.

Seeing the world is in my eyes, even more educational than a course or a college class. Traveling is sort of a condensed crash course in discovering how the rest of the world lives. You will learn history, geography and sociology. Every destination has something unique to make visitors learn new things. Immersing themselves in a completely different world is a perfect learning situation.

Learn a new language, a new cuisine, aspects of a different culture, or a deeper appreciation of faith or spirituality. As a bonus, you can take away more than what you are trying for. Most of the stuff you learn is stuff you didn’t know you wanted to learn. That is what makes traveling so special.

So now you know why you should travel. My guess is that you also have several other reasons to take on your next trip. Bon voyage
